Another week under the belt for the Summer of 2014.
This week was a bit harder than most. The week you go back to work is always hard after a vacation. Last week I was back at it and not much really happened. We finished planting the Hop Yard on Friday (finally), hired another guy for the brewery (he looks like a great guy) and had a meeting about my future potential at work (yawn).
The pool was acting up and I taught Dustin how to operate the salt machine and what to do to make the water sparkle. He is a quick learning. The pool does have a slow leak and I am not sure where it is. Bastard.
Sirena is getting big. She is now fully turned the corner from toddler to little girl. She is a sweet heart.
Karen and I went to the trailer on Friday night. Stopped at the pub for fish and chips and a jug of beer. It was good. We then went and opened the trailer. Gil next door cut our grass again. Good Guy.
| YUM |
Saturday Marc and Lori came up and stayed the night. We did the usual of drinking tons of wine, eating some great food and laughing our asses off.
They left the next day around lunch time and Karen and I vegged until we finally got up and went home to get ready for my brother-in-law's surprise retirement party. It was a nice party and Ron had a great time.
Also last week our satellite system broke down. Guess we need to look at changing or fixing.
Karen and I brainstormed some ideas for Plan A Vacation. I am really starting to get excited about some of the possibilities and opportunities that I believe are right in front of us.
